This cute little bunny is the perfect choice. No yarn masterskills required—just a few basic stitches, some yarn, and you're off!
Materials Needed
Light
worsted (DK) yarn – light grey or white for the body, pink for details
- 4.0 mm crochet hook
- Black safety
- Fiberfill stuffing
- Yarn needle
- Scissors

Stitch Guide
- SC (Single Crochet): Insert hook, yarn over, pull through. Yarn over again and pull through both loops.
- INC (Increase): Make two single crochets using the same stitch.
- DEC (Decrease): Crochet two together to reduce the number.
- SL ST (Slip Stitch): Put hook in, yarn over, draw through both loops.
Don't panic if these are unfamiliar to you—they're easy to
learn!
Step 1: Create the Rabbit's Head
Round 1: Start with a magic ring. Crochet 6 SC in the ring.

Round 3: [SC, INC] repeat around. (18)
Round 4: [SC in next 2, INC] repeat. (24)
Rounds 5–10: SC in each stitch around. (24)
Round 11: [SC in next 2, DEC] repeat. (18)
Round 12: [SC, DEC] repeat. (12)
Round 13: DEC around. (6)
Fasten off and leave a tail. Stuff in the head firmly.
Step 2: Crochet the Body
Round 1: Magic ring, 6 SC. (6)
Round 2: INC around. (12)
Round 3: [SC, INC] around. (18)
Rounds 4–8: SC in each stitch. (18)
Round 9: [SC, DEC] repeat. (12)
Round 10: SC in each stitch. (12)
Step 3: Make Ears (Make 2)
Chain 6. Start with second chain, SC next 4, 3 SC last
stitch.
Take up on other side: SC 4, 2 SC last stitch. (13 total)
SC around for 2 more rounds for extra shape.
Fasten off, fold slightly, and sew to top of head.
Step 4: Crochet the Arms and Legs (Make 4)
Round 1: Magic ring, 6 SC. (6)
Rounds 2–4: SC in every stitch. (6)
Gently stuff and sew two legs to the bottom of the body. Sew
the arms below the head.
Step 5: Add the Tail and Face
Use small white pom-pom or crochet a small ball for tail.
Stitch a small pink nose and eyes (safety eyes or
embroidered).
You might also add a bow tie, ribbon, or even a small dress
if you wish to make your bunny more personalized!
